Creating Shipments

Adding a Shipment Header

  1. Navigate to ‘Shipments’
  2. Using the Actions to add a shipment
  3. To begin adding the Shipment you can choose from a salesordercustomer or product.
  4. You can add a delivery reference of your choice.
  5. ‘Address’ isthe address the shipment will be delivered to, which may be populated by therecord you selected for the shipment, you can also select another address, fromthe address book, or create a new one.
  6. ‘Delivery’shows the details for transporting the goods, including who, how and atransport cost.

Adding Shipment Line Items

  1. User the Line actions to add itemlines to the Shipment.
  2. Lines can be modified by selecting the Actions menu.
  3. To include the line on the shipment, the box on the left hand side of the linemust be checked.
  4. If there are multiple lines, the box to the leftof ‘Product’ can be checked to selectall the lines.
  5. When the lines are saved, the Shipment header screen opens with a list of the Shipment linesat the bottom of the screen.
  6. Finalise the Shipment using the function withthe Action menu, this will tell the system the order has been delivered.
  7. After adding all lines to the Shipment, it canbe Printed and/or emailed.

Existing Shipments

  1. Navigate to the Shipments LandingPage.
  2. Search for an existing Shipment or select a Shipment from the Landing Page Summary.
  3. Unfinalised Shipments can be amended or deletedfrom the Action menu.
  4. If the Shipment is finalised, amendments arelimited, a Shipment can be unfinalised from the Actions.

Shipping from a Sales Order

  1. A firm Sales Order can be shipped direct from the Sales Order,using the Action inthe Sales Order header.
  2. This allows the Shipment, and Invoice, to be created and populated with details fromthe Sales Order.
  3. Check theoptions required for progressing the Shipment and Invoice.
  4. Saving willtake you directly to Shipments.
